“ All the main dishes were fantastic and the service was top notch. I was not as excited about the appetizers. We only received 4 gyoza for the price, and the calamari was really tough. They felt like afterthoughts, but it didn't take away from the whole experience. Beautiful decor, and we left very satisfied! ”
“ Delicious! Everyone at the table got a different ramen bowl and enjoyed their food. We had dumplings and edamame as appetizers and they were excellent. I ordered a non-alcoholic cocktail that was delicious! ”
“ I had dinner here with my husband, and it was a fantastic choice for authentic Japanese comfort food. The restaurant has a cozy, inviting atmosphere with traditional decor that adds to the experience. We ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen and Chicken Katsu Ramen, and both were excellent. The Tonkotsu Ramen had a deep, creamy broth with just the right amount of heat, complemented by tender roast pork, a soft-boiled egg. The balance of spice and umami made every bite satisfying. The Chicken Katsu Ramen was equally impressive. The soy-based chicken broth was rich and flavorful, and the crispy breaded chicken cutlet added a great texture contrast. With bok choy, bean sprouts, and a soft-boiled egg, it was a hearty and comforting bowl. Service was smooth, and the portions were generous. If you're in Cincinnati and craving bold, flavorful ramen, Zundo is definitely worth a visit! ”
“ It has a very good cozy atmosphere! And our server was very attentive. We had Soft Shell Crab, Chicken bun, Teriyaki Don, Spicy Miso Ramen and a Green tea ice cream! The Soft Shell crab and the Teriyaki Don was great. But the Spicy miso Ramen and the Chicken Bun was not that good. The ramen had a muddy taste and the bun was just okay. Anyway if you choose your food right, it will be a comfortable experience. ”
“ Atmosphere is very intimate and there’s very moody lighting it’s quite pretty. Service was good, attentive server and answered all my questions about the food. And the food tasted exactly as I expected it to Overall I’d recommend this place ”
“ I loved everything about it my recent visit to Zundo. I had been several years ago and didn’t feel impressed enough to come back, but I have definitely been missing out!! My Tonkotsu bowl was piping hot, savory, and warming. The TanTanmen was nutty and just the slightest hint spicy. The eggs were a piece of art! The Tatsuta-age was pretty good, but for the price I wouldn’t get it again. I loved the Matcha Mule! It’s also such a cozy spot for a winters night. ”
“ Really evokes the japanese flavors, I mean, not the same because they made some adjustments, but broth is tasty as it should be, takoyaki and gyozas taste as they are supposed to, and the staff was nice enough to explain to us how to open a ramune bottle ”
“ The Ramen was very good I tried the Japanese sausage, and it was great . I recommend this place. ”
